With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Doug Hanslip brings deep industry knowledge, an extensive network of contacts, strong demonstrated leverage of the most novel recruiting technologies, and a proven track record of successful executive placements. He brings extreme dedication to every financial services hiring mandate, and realizes high placement rates and notable repeat business as a result. Prior to launching Hanslip Group Consulting, Doug served as Global Head of Talent Acquisition & Recruiting for Mesirow Financial where he managed the firm’s full cycle recruiting processes and human capital management hiring efforts. His search career began as a Senior Partner with KornFerry Intl, where served as the firm’s Co-Head of Asset Management, Global Head of Alternative Investments, and Co-Head of Capital Markets recruiting platforms, and with CT Partners in similar sectors where he concurrently opened and managed the firm’s Chicago office and Central Region US presence.
Prior to joining the search industry, Doug realized his primary financial services knowledge and experience working for Bank of America, Lehman Brothers and NatWest Securities. He earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. His civic and charitable responsibilities have included the Northwestern University’s Alumni Admission Council , The Berkshire School’s Board of Trustees, The Science and Industry Museum of Chicago’s President’s Council, the Auxiliary Boards of the Chicago Botanic Garden and the Lincoln Park Zoo, and he has supported numerous other charities throughout the NYC and Chicago philanthropic communities.
