With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Douglas G. Hanslip combines deep industry knowledge and an extensive network of contacts with a proven track record of executive placement. Prior to launching Hanslip Group Consulting, Doug served as Executive Vice President, Global Head of Financial Services for DHR International, where he conducted searches across financial services sectors including asset & wealth management, alternative investments/hedge funds, capital markets, investment banking, private banking, quantitative trading and research, and private equity. He was a Senior Partner and member of the Global Financial Services Practice for CTPartners, and a Senior Partner at Korn Ferry International, where he was Co-Head of Asset Management, North America, Global Head of Alternative Investments and Head of Equity Capital Markets, North America.
Prior to joining the search industry, Doug gathered considerable financial services experience working for Bank of America, Lehman Brothers and NatWest Securities. He earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. His civic and charitable responsibilities have included the Northwestern University's Alumni Admission Council , The Berkshire School's Board of Trustees, the Science and Industry Museum of Chicago's President’s Council, the Auxiliary Boards of the Chicago Botanic Garden and the Lincoln Park Zoo, and he has supported numerous children’s charities throughout NYC and Chicago.
